Jim Triandiflou Joins Envisage Board of Directors

Triandiflou’s experience scaling software companies will support Envisage efforts to expand

Bloomington, Ind., May 14, 2020  – Envisage Technologies announced today that Jim Triandiflou has joined its Board of Directors. The rapidly expanding SaaS company, located in the heart of the Midwest, provides essential cloud-based training and compliance software solutions for federal agencies, law enforcement and more than 2 million first responders across the nation.

Jim is a three-time CEO of venture and private equity backed businesses, most recently serving as the CEO of Relias.  During his eight years as CEO of Relias—the leading provider of online training for health care organizations—revenue grew tenfold and the number of employees grew from 120 to over 800.  In 2017, the North Carolina Triangle Business Journal named Jim the Business person of the Year. Jim’s passion for training, scaling software companies, and building mission-based organizations strongly aligns with Envisage’s commitment to regular training and development of personnel across all teams.

“It is an honor to join Ari and the team at Envisage on the next phase of their journey.  The Envisage mission around the readiness of America’s public safety personnel… keeping them safe… is very genuine and powerful,” said Triandiflou.  “Combine the mission with the great growth trajectory of the company, and Envisage is a special organization.”

“What began as a vision for delivering the world’s best-blended training tools for the homeland defense and public safety space has rapidly evolved into the gold standard for these industries,” said Ari Vidali, CEO of Envisage Technologies. “We are passionate about elevating national readiness at all levels and relentlessly focused on the unique needs of our public safety customers. Jim is a perfect fit for our board as he adds a remarkable depth of learning industry domain expertise and a wealth of experience coaching rapidly growing software organizations.”

In recent years, Envisage has seen record growth that demands support from experts in organizational expansion. Triandiflou’s professional acumen makes him an invaluable advisor during this period of rapid, invigorating change.
