Our privacy policy is intended to create a shared understanding about how Acadis protects, shares and uses data generated by each website visitor. The following applies to all website visitor activity on acadis.com:

 

  1. By visiting the website, you grant Acadis the right to analyze and aggregate data and statistics about your activity to improve website visitors’ experiences. We will never sell your information to third parties.
  2. Acadis may collect server logs containing IP addresses, browser types and other web request data regarding website visitors. Moreover, through our contact forms, you may provide us with personal information such as your first and last name, company/department information, e-mail address, and phone number.
  3. By providing Acadis with your e-mail address, you consent to receiving periodic messages sent by us or on our behalf.
  4. You may opt out of e-mail messages or request changes to your personal information and preferences by sending a message to [email protected]. We promise that any such requests will be promptly processed.
  5. If results of data analysis are communicated to any third party, your identity and personal information will not be referenced without your express permission.
  6. Vendors and other third-party partners may maintain information about our website visitors under their own data and privacy policies. However, we expect vendors to follow policies that respect confidentiality of our members and grant them control of their own data.
  7. You may not mine Acadis for information intended for resale as marketing data or contact lists, unless such tools are built into our software.
  8. Acadis makes use of cookies and other techniques to manage visitors’ experience while on the website. This includes visitors who have a “Do Not Track” setting enabled on their browsers.
  9. Acadis will make every effort to secure your data from loss and theft but cannot guarantee that our security protocols will never be overcome. Should your information be compromised, we will notify you of the data breach along with recommended actions to take to protect yourself. Such notice will be posted on acadis.com, and sent to your e-mail address if you have provided it to us.
  10. Acadis Technologies uses Hotjar in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize this service and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users’ experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices. This includes a device’s IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile. Hotjar is contractually forbidden to sell any of the data collected on our behalf. Acadis may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The modified version will be effective upon your next visit to acadis.com or fourteen (14) days after the revisions, whichever happens first.
